Civil Rights leader - Nobel Peasce Prize Winner
The greatest Civil Rights leader in the history of the United States, Dr. King was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his B.A. degree from Morehouse College in 1948 In 1951 he earned a Bachelor of Divinity degree from Crozer Theologhical Seminary and earned his Ph.D. degree from Boston University in 1955. He was the pastor of the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church of Montgomery, Alabama where he became involved in the Civil Rights Movement. He was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee in 1968.
